BBMP flattens encroachments

BANGALORE: The Bruhat Bangalore Maganagara Palike’s drive to clear the city’s storm water drains of encroachment resulted in the demolition of two encroachments.

The first encroachment took place on Hare Krishna Road near Shivananda Circle, where an emission centre on a drain has been built next to the Indian Oil petrol station. The second was in Kumara Park West, where a car shed and compound wall were removed.
