Cheating gang busted

GUNTUR: Kothapet police on Monday busted a racket comprising of five persons, who were involved in cheating gullible persons, near Gandhi Park here.

According to Kothapet Sub-Inspector of Police K. Sridhar Reddy, the gang has been luring men after promising them that they would get paid for vasectomy operations.

The gang members then take them to the Government Hospital at Ongole and after the surgery pocket Rs.800 and give away the remaining amount. The gang has so far cheated about 30 persons.
