Six held for illegal sale of railway tickets

NEW DELHI: Northern Railway Protection Force officers arrested six operators allegedly involved in unauthorised sale of rail tickets after raiding the premises of three travel agencies here this past week. The arrested persons have been handed over to the police.

According to Northern Railway, these agencies were involved in purchase and sale of rail tickets to passengers at exorbitant rates. A total of 21 reserved tickets and several documents were seized from them.
