DU teachers write to Sheila

NEW DELHI: The Delhi University Teachers’ Association has urged Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit not to take away Delhi College of Engineering and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology from Delhi University.

In a letter to Ms. Dikshit, DUTA president Aditya Narayan Misra said: “It is under the umbrella of Delhi University that these colleges have attained name and fame. We believe that instead of moving these colleges under the proposed technical university there is a need for handing over complete control of these institutions to DU.”
