With rise in incidents relating to violence on women, like the tragic death of Sameera recently there appears to be an urgent need to nominate/ appoint the chairperson and members to the A.P. State Women’s Commission, which appears to be functioning for one and half year without the chairperson and members. Now it is manned by officials from Women and Child Welfare departments.

There are many complaints on the abnormal delay in the refund of the TDS due to tedious procedure. The I-T Department should refund TDS on producing a xerox copy of the I-T return acknowledgment.

This refers to the Karnataka Tourism Minister Gali Janardhan Reddy’s Rs. 45 crore worth diamond crown offering to Lord Venkateswara.

Several in our country are without food and basic amenities . If Mr. Reddy had spent this staggering amount on welfare schemes , the Lord would have been showered his choicest blessings on him.
