Manmohan Singh pays tributes to Narasimha Rao

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh pays floral tributes on the occasion of former Prime Minister, P.V. Narasimha Rao’s birth anniversary in New Delhi on Sunday.

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh paid floral tributes to the portrait of the former Prime Minister, the P.V. Narasimha Rao, at the Andhra Pradesh Bhavan here on the occasion of his 89th birth anniversary on Sunday.

He participated in the programme organised by the P.V. Narasimha Rao memorial committee and was received by, among others, the late leader’s brother P.V. Manohar Rao, son P.V. Prabhakara Rao and grandson N.V. Subash.

The former Union Minister, Shivraj Patil, the former Election Commissioner, G.V.G. Krishnamurthy, and All-India Anti-Terrorist Front Chairman Maninderjit Singh Bitta were among those who paid tributes to Narasimha Rao.

Bhajan

A bhajan programme was also held.
