Kazim’s family to visit Australia

Government to meet travel expenses

HYDERABAD: State government has stepped in to help the parents of Mir Kazim Ali Khan, a city boy assaulted in Australia, by providing air tickets for their travel.

Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy gave the consent to officials to make all arrangements for the family of the injured student to visit him in Australia.

A press release from Chief Minister’s office on Sunday said mother and brother of Mr. Kazim Ali would leave for Australia on Monday.

The family members were issued Tatkal passport. The government is willing to foot the bill for his treatment and meet his medical expenses depending on the health condition of Mr. Kazim Ali.

It may be recalled that Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi represented to the Chief Minister to help the parents of Mr. Kazim to reach Australia.
