Moily to review strategy for GHMC polls

HYDERABAD: The AICC general secretary and Union Law and Justice Minister, M. Veerappa Moily, will hold review meetings with the party MLAs from the city and the surrounding areas coming under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits on Monday.

Visiting the city for the first time after assuming charge as Union Minister, Mr. Moily, who is also the AICC in charge for the State, will proceed to the Gandhi Bhavan at 3 p.m. to interact with the party MLAs from the GHMC limits, all the contested candidates, MPs and MLCs besides the Pradesh Congress Committee general secretaries and vice-presidents and coordinators. Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy and the APCC president D. Srinivas will attend the meeting.

Later, Mr. Moily will address another meeting of the DCC and City Congress Committee presidents and district coordinators to take stock of the post poll scenario.
