This refers to ‘High drama at Telangana Bhavan’. The current happenings are enough indication of how the party president K.Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) has been functioning. Financial mismanagement, high-handedness, rule by division of castes have been the hall marks of the TRS. Frustration is mounting in the party’s rank and file as KCR belies the party’s aspirations. The party president must give up autocratic nature of functioning and manage the affairs of the party democratically. M. Satyanarayana Rao, Excise Colony, Hanamkonda Abuse of women on the riseThe incidence of ill-treatment of women is on the rise. Not a single day passes without some news or the other about women being molested, dowry harassment, rape, ragging and so on. The abuse of women has to be taken seriously. The society as a whole should move in unison to arrest this social evil. Suitable laws should be enacted to punish perpetrators of such crimes. Delay in taking action against the culprits will embolden them and in will increase the incidence of crime against women. G.L. Panchashrit Reddy, Gangastan, Nizamabad
