2 fatally knocked down

CHENNAI: Two persons were killed on the spot when a mini-lorry knocked them down them here on Friday.

According to police sources, A. Venkatesan (26) and S. Prabhakaran (35) were going on a motorcycle towards Manali.

At the Madhavaram roundabout, the lorry knocked them down. They suffered grievous head injuries and died. Lorry driver P. Manonmani (35) of Manali, was arrested.
