Special trains to clear extra rush of passengers

CHENNAI: Southern Railway will run the following special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers.

Chennai Egmore-Madurai Special: Train No. 0665 will leave Egmore at 11.45 p.m. on July 3 and reach Madurai at 9.15 a.m.

Chennai Central-Coimbatore Special: Train No. 0617 will leave Central at 10.20 p.m. on July 3 and reach Coimbatore at 7 a.m.

Chennai Egmore-Tirunelveli-Egmore Specials: Train No. 0655 will leave Egmore at 6.40 p.m. on June 30 and reach Tirunelveli at 6.30 a.m.

In the return direction, Train No. 0656 will leave Tirunelveli at 2.50 p.m. on July 1 and arrive at Egmore at 4.15 a.m. Train No. 0659 will leave Egmore at 8.25 p.m. on July 1 and arrive at Tirunelveli at 9.20 a.m.

In the return direction, Ttrain Nno. 0660 will leave Tirunelveli at 9.15 p.m. on July 2 and arrive at Egmore at 10.30 a.m.

Advance reservation will start on June 28, according to a Southern Railway press release.
