Applications invited for hostel admission

COIMBATORE: Applications are invited from Muslim girls studying in various educational institutions in Coimbatore for admission to a hostel set up for them exclusively.

According to a release, there are five such hostels in the State. These are to encourage girl students who are discontinuing studies because of having to traverse long distances.The intake for the hostel in Coimbatore is 50.

Those whose family income is less than Rs. 1 lakh per annum are eligible to apply. Those interested can contact the Government Hostel for Minorities (Government Hostel for Muslim Girl Students), Gandhiji Layout, 2nd street, Reddiar Colony, SIDCO Post, Coimbatore – 641021.
