Chikungunya cases

Sirsi: The number of chikungunya cases is on the rise in Sirsi, Siddapur, Yellapur and Mundgod taluks, according to sources. In Sirsi town, most of the hospitals are flooded with patients with symptoms of chikungunya. In Yellapur taluk, of the 11,306 persons tested, 176 tested positive for chikungunya and one person tested positive for dengue. In Mundgod taluk, a case of dengue fever has been reported from Deshpandenagar.
