Medak Collector swoons
HYDERABAD: There was a commotion at the Collectors’ conference at Jubilee Hall here on Saturday when Medak Collector L. Shashidhar swooned on the table after profusely sweating and vomiting.
Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddywas visibly upset and confused, as also the Ministers, senior officials and other Collectors.
The feared that Mr. Shashidhar might have suffered a heart attack.
Soon, senior officials, K. Prabhakar Reddy, R. M. Gonela and A. K . Goel rushed to him to the front open hall. They were relieved when Mr. Shashidhar recovered and said “don’t worry”.
The Medak Collector was moved to the Chief Minister’s personal chamber in the Jubilee Hall before he was taken to a hospital by ambulance.
