TIRUCHI: K. Guhan of City Club bagged a double in the district men’s tennis tournament here recently. Guhan defeated clubmate A. Karl Subash 7-6, 7-5 in the singles final and teamed up with Karl to beat John and Sandeep of Officers Club 10-8 in the doubles clash. Cricket trialsTiruchi District Cricket Association will conduct trials to select the under-22, 19, 16 and 14 teams at National College. Trials to choose the under-22 and 14 teams will be held on June 29 at 6.30 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. respectively, while the trials for under-19 and 16 teams will be held on June 30 at 6.30 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. respectively.
