Youth to raise funds for charity

Coimbatore: Youth Helping Hands (YHH) and Voice of Youth for Clean Environment (VOYCE) are organising a mega fund raising event Star Night for bringing out hidden talents on September 27 at CIT Auditorium.

As a prelude to the event, there would be contests for short listing the final performers on stage which would take place on September 19, 20 and 21.

Title for the event is ‘The One’. The fund generated through the event would be used for helping orphan children. Physically challenged persons would be given technical education to make themselves earn, a release from R. Arun, Chairman of YHH and VOYCE said.

The contests would be in search of a new talent i.e., art, music, dance and special talent.

There would be no age limit and all those above 12 years could participate either individually or in groups. Ten talented youth would be selected and will be given the reward and would be asked to perform on stage and one of them would awarded with the title on the Star Night. All participants would be charged an entry fee and the organisers expect 1,000 participants.
