Ten Kollegeal CMC members disqualified

CHAMARAJANAGAR: Deputy Commissioner Manojkumar Meena has disqualified 10 members from the Kollegal City Municipal Council under the Karnataka Local Authorities (Prohibition of Defection) Act, 1987. All 10 members who were disqualified were elected from the Janata Dal (Secular). Mr. Meena passed the disqualification order after hearing the arguments. With this, president of Kollegal CMC G. Selvaraju and Vice-President G.M. Suresh have lost their membership.
