The practice continues

Staff Reporter

Bangalore: Although Friday’s event to lay the foundation stone for six grade separators along the Outer Ring Road was organised by the BDA, it appeared as though the programme was a ruling party function.

Hundreds of people, who were transported by vehicles from across the city, were treated to a sumptuous lunch. There were repeated announcements on the dais inviting the audience for lunch. With elections to the BBMP Council due to take place, this practice of the BJP is being witnessed more often.
