GHMC to publish BC voters list on June 30

HYDERABAD: The GHMC has once again revised the schedule for identification of BC voters. The ward-wise electoral rolls marked with BC voters would be published on June 30 and not July 6, as earlier planned.

Draft publication of these rolls has been made available in the ward offices, office of the Tahsildar and RDOs’ concerned. All the political parties as well as electors have been urged to file their respective claims/ objections before the B.C. identification officer concerned before July 7, an official spokesman said. Commissioner S.P. Singh, who held a meeting with representatives of various political parties on Friday, said an affidavit would be filed before the High Court seeking extension of one more month for completing the pre-election process.

The final publication of electoral rolls is on July 13.
