MCEME: 69 officers graduate from DE-85 course

Hyderabad: A total of 69 officers graduated from the 85th Degree Engineering Course and the 11th Technical Entry Scheme Courses during the convocation ceremony conducted by the Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME) on Friday.

Officers were awarded the Bachelor of Technology degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University, which were given away by the Chief Guest Professor D.P. Agrawal, Chairman, Union Public Service Commission.

A number of medals were awarded to the young graduates that included the Director General of EME Gold Medal that was given to Major Saurabh Ahuja of Degree Engineering-85 course and Lieutenant Vishnu R. Chikkorde from the Technical Entry Scheme-11 course.

Major Ravinder Singh and Lieutenant Prarit Kapoor were awarded the Commandant’s Silver Medal in the Mechanical Engineering stream and Major Hemant Rana and Leiutenant Rahul Srivastava bagged the Commandant’s Silver Medal in the Electronics Engineering Stream.

The DGEME trophy that is given to the best all round student officer of the DE-85 course was awarded to Major Saurabh Ahuja and the ARTRAC Trophy for the best all round student officer of the TES-11 was given to Lieutenant Vishnu R. Chikkorde.
