Deputy tehsildar trapped

HYDERABAD: Anti-Corruption Bureau staff of Vijayawada on Friday ‘caught’ Shaik Latheef Pasha, Kalidindi mandal deputy tehsildar, while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs.5,000 from the complainant for doing an official favour.

A press release issued by ACB here said Pasha allegedly demanded bribe for processing her application for a fair price shop dealership at Sanarudravaram village and putting it up to the tehsildar. The tainted cash was seized. He will be produced before the Special Judge for SPE and ACB Cases, Vijayawada.
