Pick-pocket gang held, weapons seized

HYDERABAD: An operator of a gang of pick-pockets and two of his associates, who allegedly plotted to eliminate their rivals using firearms, were arrested by the Hyderabad police on Friday.

Two country-made ‘tapanchas’ with five live rounds and three daggers were seized from the arrested, Mohd. Abdul Zaheer and his accomplices, Mohd. Ashfaq and Mohd. Issaq, the Commissioner’s Task Force DCP V.B. Kamalasan Reddy told a press conference.
