Bangalore: Concern India Foundation is organising Corporate Classroom 2009, a corporate quiz, on July 4. The objective is to raise funds for the educational programmes supported by the foundation. It is also to create awareness about the activities of the foundation. A press release here said that the quiz, presented by Airtel, will be conducted by Charu Sharma, commentator. It will be a general quiz with questions on diverse topics. It will be held at the Chancery Pavilion from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. The release said that the quiz will begin with a written preliminary round followed by a semi-final and the final round. Participants will comprise two-member teams from various leading corporates in Bangalore, primarily from the IT sector. About 60 teams are expected to take part in the quiz. Multiple teams from each corporate will be entertained. Some of the corporates which have confirmed participation in the quiz include ITC Infotech, Infosys, HP, KPMG, Unilever, Logica CMG, Spheris, Sun Microsystems and Net App. Trophies and exciting prizes from Timex Watches and designer Satya Paul will be given to the winners and runners-up.
