Water level

MADURAI: Water level in the Periyar dam on Thursday stood at 109.90 feet (136 feet) with an inflow of 230 cusecs and a discharge of 240 cusecs. The level in the Vaigai dam was 23.65 feet (71 feet) with an inflow of 142 cusecs and a discharge of 41 cusecs. The combined Periyar credit stood at minus 406 mcft.

Periyar dam recorded a rainfall of 13.4 mm followed by Tekkadi 1 mm.
