Workshop for judges

Coimbatore: The judiciary is conducting a zonal workshop by Tamil Nadu State Judicial Academy for District Judges and sub judges on ‘Planning and Management for Timely Justice.’

A release from the Chief Administrative Officer of the District Court, Coimbatore, said that the workshop would be held at Tamil Nadu Forest Academy, Coimbatore, from June 26 to 28. Judicial officers from Coimbatore, the Nilgiris, Karur, Salem, Dharmapuri, Dindugul, Erode, Krishnagiri and Namakkal distrist would attend.

The inaugural of the workshop would be presided by the Supreme Court judge, Justice P. Sathasivam. Chief Justice of the Madras High Court H.L. Gokhale will preside over the function. The other High Court judges to attend the workshop include Justices M. Sathyanarayanan, R.S. Ramanathan, R. Banumathi, V. Dhanabalan and T. Murugesan. Mr. Dyan Krishnan, a lawyer of Supreme Court, S. Krishnan, a senior lawyer in Chennai will be the resource person.
