VIJAYAWADA: An unidentified woman was killed in a road accident near Sarakottu bazaar at Gollapudi near here in early hours of Monday. The One Town police, who registered the case, could not guess the age of the victim, as the body was mutilated beyond recognition. They suspect that the woman might have died in a hit and run road accident. As it was in the early hours, none was there to shift the body to road side and inform the police. The body would have come under umpteen speeding vehicles resulting in disfigurement of the deceased. The police could reach the spot only after dawn. They could recover only heap of flesh and some pieces of body. The police sent the body for post-mortem.
