Medical officers take out rally

PUDUCHERRY: Members of the Puducherry Government Medical Officers Association took out a rally from St. Agnes Street to Rangapillai Street, on Monday, to highlight their long pending demands. The demands included promotions to chief medical officer cadre and increase in pay for contract medical officers and specialists. They submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister V. Vaithilingam and Home Minister E. Valsaraj, who also holds the Health portfolio — Staff Reporter
