School launches new learning technology

PUDUCHERRY: St. Patrick Matriculation Higher Secondary School launched an advanced learning technology for all classes on June 20. Director of School Education S. Sundaravadivelu inaugurated it at the school.

The technology, “Smart Class,” enabled students to learn easily. Experiments, physiological aspects of science, historical events, geographical landmarks and mathematical computations would be screened. Launched with the help of Educomp Solutions Ltd, the technology was already in place in cities including Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai and Bangalore.

Teachers of the school underwent a training programme on the use of this technology during the first week of June.

Joint Director of School Education Vanjulavalli, Correspondent of the school S. Regis, Directrix Lily Regis and Principal Fredrick were present on the occasion.
