New Collector assumes charge

Change of guard: Collector L. Sridhar taking charge from outgoing Collecter Peeyush Kumar at Collectorate. –

SANGAREDDY: Newly appointed Collector of Medak district L. Sridhar took charge on Sunday from the outgoing Collector Peeyush Kumar who has been appointed as the Collector of Krishna district.

Speaking to the reporters on this occasion, Mr. Sridhar said that he would focus on improving irrigation facilities in the district. The Collector said that the people should be explained about the facilities and schemes. Top priority would be accorded to take the government schemes to village-level for the sake of genuine beneficiaries.

Mr. Sridhar said that a review would be held on different issues and an action plan would be prepared.
