Appeal to Mamata Banerjee

CHENNAI: Union Minister of Textiles Dayanidhi Maran has appealed to his Cabinet colleague Mamata Banerjee to take measures to operate the Chennai-Jodhpur Express three times a week.

According to a press release, several Rajasthani welfare associations have demanded for increasing the frequency of the train. It leaves Chennai Central at 8.15 p.m. on Saturdays and reaches Jodhpur on Monday 11.05 a.m.
