Girl succumbs to burns

Chennai: A 15-year-old girl died of burns she sustained while cooking at her house in Pallikaranai on Friday morning. Police said U. Santhi, a school dropout, was cooking in her house in Mylai Balaji Nagar when her clothes caught fire. She sustained serious burns and was admitted to Government Royapettah Hospital, where she died later in the day.
