Discom Assistant Executive Engineer in ACB net
HYDERABAD: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on Saturday ‘caught’ V. Ravikanth Reddy, APCPDCL assistant executive engineer, Mahabubnagar circle, after he accepted a bribe of Rs.10,000 for issuing the work order for civil works executed by the complainant and prepare the bill.
A press release said here that the officials recovered the cash. Reddy is being arrested. He will be produced before the Principal Special Judge for SPE and ACB Cases, Hyderabad.
The ACB officials also ‘caught’ T. Manohar, senior assistant/reserve inspector, in Yellandu Municipality, Khammam district, after he accepted a bribe of Rs.3,000 for mutating the complainant’s name in records and issue a certificate. They recovered the amount from Manohar. He will be produced before the special judge here.
