Assets worth Rs. 56 lakh unearthed from AE

HYDERABAD: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials unearthed assets worth Rs. 56 lakh of P. Janardhana Sudhakar, Assistant Engineer, AP Housing Board, following simultaneous checks at his residence in Singapore Township, Hyderabad, and houses of his relatives in Tadipaka and Palakollu on Friday.

A press release issued by ACB here said a case of disproportionate assets against him was registered. The searches are continuing. The assets include a flat in the township, two houses at Tadipaka (West Godavari district), a house at Rajahmundry, five plots near Ramoji Film City and a plot each at Kakinada and Rajahmundry.

The market value of these assets would be worth about Rs.2 crore. The officials also found 550 gm of gold ornaments, a car, a motor cycle and Rs.20,000.
