Kasaragod: Kerala States Human Rights Commission (SHRC) Chairman N. Dinakar has directed the Kanhangad municipality to take strict action against hotels which do not serve clean drinking water to customers. Mr. Dinakar was holding a sitting of the commission at the Kasaragod guest house here on Thursday. The order came on a petition filed by one V.K.P. Muhammad stating that the Kanhangad municipality was not taking action against errant hotels. The commission asked the authorities concerned to collect water samples from hotels at regular intervals. — Staff Reporter
