Bangalore: It is that time of the year again! Time for the annual The Hindu MetroPlus Lifestyle Show. This year, The Hindu MetroPlus Lifestyle Show 2009 will be held at the Palace Grounds (Tripuravasini – Mekhri Circle Entrance) from Thursday to Monday. Nisha Millet, Arujna Award winning swimmer, will inaugurate the show at 3 p.m. on Thursday. The event is being sponsored by Jute Manufactures’ Development Council and Canon, while the radio partner is RadioOne 94.3. The Hindu MetroPlus Lifestyle Show is South India’s largest consumer fair. With over 40,000 people visiting the fair last year, the show is sure to be a retail shopping extravaganza and attract more people this year. This year, the show will have on offer a variety of product categories for the customers. The two shows held earlier in Bangalore beginning from 2006 were a phenomenal successes and the third edition too promises to live up to its expectations. The five-day show at Palace Grounds will bring together a host of big brands and showcase a range of lifestyle products. Around 125 stalls will be spread over a sprawling air-conditioned area of 5,000 sq. metres with the best brands. On display will be a breathtaking range covering consumer electronics, computer and IT products. The show will be open from 10 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. for public and entry tickets are priced at Rs. 40 per person. There is no entry fee for children below 15 years, while women can experience the retail extravaganza free of charge from Thursday to Saturday.
