Diwakar Reddy’s follower hacked to death

ANANTAPUR: A follower of former Minister and Tadipatri legislator J.C. Diwakar Reddy, Nallapa Reddy (48) of Devuni Uppalapadu, was hacked to death allegedly by unidentified persons in Thimmana Cheruvu village of Pedda Pappur mandal on Monday night.

Police said Reddy and four others were going in a four-wheeler when the assailants chased them and hacked Nallapa Reddy to death. Reddy was an accused in the murder of Rambhupal Reddy during sarpanch elections in Devuni Uppalapadu three years back.
