SANGAREDDY: The developments that took place at the Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad on Monday were unfortunate though there was no alternative left for the party, feel many TRS leaders While admitting that the incident of manhandling former MP Ravindra Naik had tarnished the image of the party further in the eyes of the Telangana people, they asked: “What could they do someone came to the party office wilfully to ‘create a scene’ to attract media attention. “They (the rebels) had already tied up with the Congress to attack our president K. Chandrasekhar Rao and it was clearly visible. Mr. Ravindra Naik had come to the party office at the time of the State executive only to create a scene. As all the seniors were in the meeting, the workers at the entrance prevented him from entering the office as he had already submitted his resignation. There was no alternative left to us except physically stop him,” said former Council member R. Satyanarayana, who held a dharna at Sangareddy a few weeks ago when Medak Member of Parliament M. Vijayashanti went there to address a press conference. Party district president Raghunandan Rao said that the Telangana agitation had never taken a violent turn and it would never happen in the future also.
