NCC training camp from today

PUDUCHERRY: The Combined Annual Training Camp for Senior Division, Senior Wing, Junior Division and Junior Wing cadets will be held at NCC Complex, Lawspet, from June 16 to June 25.

Over 561 officers, staff and cadets, both boys and girls, from Puducherry, Karaikal, Mahe and Yanam will attend.

A release said that the aim of this camp was to impart collective training to the cadets by giving them a sense of outdoor camp life and community living.

Apart from regular NCC training in their respective institutions, the cadets will be trained in first aid, health and hygiene, map reading, firing, among others.

A blood donation camp will also be part of this camp.
