HYDERABAD: K. Eshwar Sai of Anandnagar Playground defeated M. Sunjay Kumar of Sun-Jay Tennis Academy 8-6 in the men’s singles final of the fourth Transworld Sports Foundation tennis tournament at Indira Park here on Sunday. Earlier in the semifinals, Eshwar got the better of K. Narender Sai 8-7(5) while Sunjay put it across K.V.N. Murthy of Kukatpally 8-3. In the girls’ under-10 final, Mary Peter of Pioneer Tennis Academy downed Sharmeen Naaz of Indira Park 8-3. S.R. Prem Raj, Director of Sports, GHMC, gave away the prizes.
