HUBLI: BDK Sports Foundation (BDKSF) and Microfinish Sports Club (MSC, Hubli) entered the final of the KSCA second division cricket tournament. Sohail Ali (66) and Akshay Angadi (53 n.o.) helped BDKSF defeat Vilas Bendre Cricket Academy (VBCA) by eight wickets while Ananth Bhagawat’s unbeaten century helped Microfinish register a six-wicket win against Hubli Sports Club (HSC) The scores: VBCA 186 in 40 overs (Sumeeth Singh 45) lost to BDKSF 189 for two in 30.5 overs (Sohail Ali 66, Akshay Angadi 53 n.o. Ravi Bharatkani 47). HSC 199 in 39.5 overs (Prashant Rao 64 n.o., Anand S. Matagar five for 40) lost to MSC 200 for four in 31.1 overs (Ananth Bhagawat 144 n.o.).
