Coimbatore: Team Red Rooster Racing sensation Akhil Khuslani cashed in on Ashwin Sundar’s misfortune to emerge a clear winner in the premium Formula Rolon class in the second round of the JK Tyre National racing championship at the Kari Motor Speedway in Chettipalayam, near here, on Sunday. Ashwin ran into rough weather with his car in the penultimate lap. It came as a huge blow as his vehicle came to a grinding halt. Akhil, who was chasing him all the while, grabbed the chance that came his way and coasted to a comfortable win. The results: Formula Rolon: Race 1 (15 laps): 1. Ashwin Sundar 17:19:630; 2.
