Audit association plea

Thiruvananthapuram: The Audit and Accounts Association has urged the Union government to take steps to fill 25,000 posts lying vacant in the department. In a resolution at its annual meeting here, it urged the Comptroller and Auditor General to revoke punitive action against its leaders and remove hurdles in the functioning of welfare institutions run by it.
