Abhishek turns emotional

Macau: Abhishek Bachchan gave an emotional speech while collecting his trophy for Best Performance in a Comic Role at the tenth International Indian Film Academy awards here on Saturday night.

Abhishek was teary-eyed as he gave his acceptance speech thanking his father, superstar Amitabh Bachchan for his support and love.

“This award is because of my father. When I saw his film ‘Amar Akbar Anthony,’ I knew that I had to be like him one day. I thank him for all I am today,” he said.

Meanwhile, Rakesh Roshan won the ‘Director of the Decade’ award, leaving behind Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Yash Chopra, Ashutosh Gowariker, Shimit Amin and Rajkumar Hirani.
