Sreemathy to open health programme

KOCHI: Minister for Health P.K. Sreemathy will lead a health alert programme to be held at the Aluva Taluk Hospital on June 16 at 10.30 a.m., said District Collector M. Beena. The programme is aimed at evaluating the functioning of the health department and to improve its efficiency, as also to contain the outbreak of epidemics as was experienced in the previous years. It will also discuss complaints and suggestions of the people’s representatives and the public regarding the health sector. The functioning of medical organisations in the district will also be assessed.
