Jaipur: Facing acute power generation shortage, the State power corporations on Friday began electricity cuts in a phased manner, official sources said here. The power cuts would be between two to six hours daily in cities and up to 24 hours in the industrial sector, the sources said. Barring the State capital Jaipur, where power cut is just for two hours in phased manner in colonies, the divisional headquarters will have no lights for three hours, district headquarters for four hours, and small towns for six hours daily.
