Chennithala seeks apology
Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee president Ramesh Chennithala has demanded a public apology from the Communist Party of India (Marxist) in the context of Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan’s statement justifying the Governor’s decision to give sanction for prosecuting party State secretary Pinarayi Vijayan. In a statement here on Thursday, Mr. Chennithala said the divergent opinions expressed by the Chief Minister and his colleagues had exposed the lack of collective responsibility in the Cabinet. — Special Correspondent
