New Group Commander for NCC

Thiruvananthapuram: Colonel M. Indrabalan has assumed charge as Group Commander, NCC Group Headquarters, Thiruvananthapuram from Col. A.N.Rae.

Commissioned into the Madras Engineering Group in 1986, Col. Indrabalan has a B.Tech. (Civil), M.Sc. and a Master’s degree in business management from IIT, Kharagpur.

Colonel Indrabalan had participated in active operations in Jammu and Kashmir and also in the Kargil war.

Colonel Indrabalan has served with the United Nations as military observer overseeing mediation, relief, rehabilitation and reconciliation works in war- torn Sierra Leone in Africa.
