Thiruvananthapuram: Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister M. Vijayakumar told TV reporters here on Monday that the Governor’s decision to give sanction to the CBI to prosecute CPI(M) State secretary Pinarayi Vijayna in the SNC-Lavalin case had given rise to an unprecedented situation and added that legal issues arising from the Governor’s decision would have to be looked into. Education Minister M.A. Baby, who was also with him, said Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan would fight the case while continuing as State secretary of the party.
