Coimbatore: Chennai’s Vishnu Prasad will start on pole in the senior class of the JK Tyre Rotax National karting championship at the Kari Motor Speedway in Chettipalayam, near here, on Sunday. The two wheeler riders did not enjoy the luxury of riding in the sun as the rains came in during the qualifying rounds of the Rolon National racing championship held later. P. Karthick stole the spotlight clinching two pole positions, while Preetham Dev Moses, Emmanuel Clarke, Sathish Kumar, K.V. Balaji, Vikram, Dinesh and Vionth Kumar all secured the top spots on the grid in their respective categories. Entry for the public is free. — Sports Reporter
