Date extended for SAY examination

Special Correspondent

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Applications for higher secondary Save A Year (SAY) and improvement examinations can be submitted on June 9 and 10.

The applications should be submitted at the centres where the students had appeared for the examination.

Copies of the application for SAY examination should be submitted at the examination centre and Higher Secondary Directorate before June 12.

Regular students who sat for the examination in 2009 can appear for six subjects for the SAY examination. Those who had appeared in the previous years, opted for the new scheme and have to clear only one subject can appear only for that subject.

Those who have to clear more than one subject will not be permitted to appear for the coming examinations.

Those who secured D+ grade in the March 2009 examinations can improve only one subject. The application for revaluation and scrutiny can be submitted up to June 10. The examination fee should be paid through demand draft.
